Wheels Up! Gibson Racing # 1 qualifier in US Nationals Hemi Challenge

NHRA US Nationals, Indianapolis IN, 9-3-09 – Super Stock racer Charlie Westcott put the super light-weight Gibson Racing front wheels on his hemi-powered Barracuda and is the Number 1 qualifier in Hemi Challenge at drag racing’s marquee event, the US Nationals. THe also qualified 5th for Super Stock eliminator itself, which is no mean feat — this year the class features 175 entries!

In the words of Drag Racing Online: “He picked up right where he left off last year with a stellar 8.491/158.07 that leads the qualifying for the SS/AH class by a bunch.”
